Cynthia Cavalie-Gonzalez, owner of C & G Investigations of Southern California, was awarded the 2021 California Association of Licensed Investigators President's Award in recognition of her outstanding commitment and dedication to the CALI Board of Directors, Members and the Private Investigator profession. Mrs. Cavalie-Gonzalez is the first female Latina licensed investigator to receive this honor. She served on the Board of Directors for four years and was appointed as the Chair of Professional Development in June 2020. As chair she was tasked to provide virtual training and education to Private Investigators nationwide during the pandemic. Although the association is California based, Cynthia took the initiative to communicate with PI associations nationwide to offer free a series of webinars which resulted in record attendance numbers of any CALI event. Cynthia was born in New York City and began her investigative career as a Fraud Investigator for the City of New York Man Resources Administration in 2000 and started her California based PI firm in 2012. She is Licensed in California and Nevada. The President selects the award recipient and presents the award at the CALI Annual Conference.
